Lovely holiday on lovely site. Lots to do, would recommend this site, could not fault it. Mr L, Hartlepool, Cleveland 01 November 2010
Whitecairn is set in beautiful countryside with views over Luce bay. There is a large play park which my young children thoroughly enjoyed playing in. Our caravan overlooked this park which meant we could keep the children within sight at all times. The accommodation was spotless and the van was very roomy - not at all cramped in any way. Another selling point for this holiday was the people who we met throughout the duration of the break - very friendly with nothing being too much of a problem. Would highly recommend this. Mrs M, Glasgow, Lanarkshire 01 October 2010
We have just returned from 4 nights with my mother, 3 children (5,7 and 9) and a dog, and we all had a great time! The weather was favourable but the park was in a very central location for the west of the region. We visited Mull of Galloway lighthouse; Port Patrick; Wigton; Stranraer; and Creetown to name but a few.
We went to beaches, harbours, rocks and forests - very varied and great fun. We went swimming in the Ryan Centre (Stranraer), it is acually cheaper and of course much bigger than the sister pool, and being only 10 miles away was no hardship to go to. The caravan itself was in a spacious position on the park, with hardstanding for the car which makes a difference on a wet day. It was of an extremely high standard - fresh, clean and it had everything you need. The staff were friendly and the park was peaceful.
I highly recommend this area and this site. Mrs C, Moffat, Dumfriesshire 31 July 2010
This Holiday Park is extremely well described. Very calm and peaceful. Plenty of space between vans and lodges, with good car parking outside. A very safe environment for children and space for them to run around. The van (Merrick) was large, modern and in very good order. Everything was extremely clean and fresh.
Other facilities on the site were clean and usable. Overal I would highly recommend this park. I'd definitely consider a holiday there again. Mrs C, Moffat, Dumfriesshire 31 July 2010
We have just returned from our holiday and would like to say that we had a great time - the area was perfect and the park was beautiful. The owners could not have been more helpful, so much so that we asked to stay another night! If you want to relax then this is the place to go!

This was a wonderful holiday for a break away, straight from the meet and greet from the owner, we were made to feel so very welcome. We where advised of where we could go to eat, then we where escorted to our caravan, which was a nice touch, and saw, it was a lovely modern caravan, very clean and warming. The accommodation had all the essentials and a few more added in. The park itself was very quaint and had a wonderful play area which kept my two boys happy, and in doing so kept my other half and I happy. I will be going back at some point again in the near future. It is located further back from the coast than I had first thought, but still in a wonderful location, granting easy access to popular locations close by. Miss C, GLASGOW 18 April 2010
We had a wonderful holiday. The accommodation was fantastic and the park was lovely and quiet. The kids had a great time and met new friends from the minute we got there, and the caravan was spotless and extremely comfortable. The location of the park allowed us to visit the surrounding area easily - you couldn't have improved the holiday at all! Mrs S, AIRDRIE, Lanarkshire 29 September 2009
Whitecairn Hoiday Park turned out to be one of the best caravan holidays we have ever had. We were made most welcome and the caravan and park exceeded our expectations. Mrs M, DUMFRIES, Dumfries and Gal 05 September 2009
An excellent park and a beautiful location. Mrs C, DARLINGTON, County Durham 13 August 2009
The park is well set out, clean and peaceful, just what you want for a relaxing holiday. Our accommodation (caravan) was modern and also lovely and clean. The perfect location for touring this area of Scotland. I love Hoseasons holidays as they cater for pets and it is great taking your dog on holiday! Miss W, Cowdenbeath, Fife 12 August 2009
This is a very well maintained park and it is very quiet, just what was needed to recharge the batteries. Mrs R, ELGIN 29 July 2009
A lovely, quiet park, ideal for children. Mrs J, GOREBRIDGE, Midlothian 03 July 2009
